Now that we are in the holiday season, are you feeling energized and rejuvenated?  Have you been shopping your heart out?  Or are you a little bloated from all the holiday parties and family meals? If you’re like the majority of Americans, chances are, you are still wondering how you fit all of that delicious food in your stomach and the words “diet” or exercise are so foreign to you right now. Many of you are saying, “Well, I’ll wait to January 1st…” No!!  Let’s start now!

Thanksgiving Day marks the beginning of the “holiday weight gain season” and a recent survey found that more than 70 percent of respondents gained one to 10 pounds between Thanksgiving and the New Year. The average holiday meal contains approximately 2,500 calories and 86 grams of fat.  Now that includes the meals, the snacks, sweets and all the “extra-curricular” beverages we consume during the holidays. It’s no surprise that keeping off the extra pounds can be a tricky feat over the holidays.

With this 8 x 25 = 200 plan, you can purchase 8 basic, simple items that will jump start you into a fitness routine that will promote not only well-being, but it will advocate an active healthy lifestyle.  These smart and economical items average no more than $ 25 each, they will really amp up your work out regiment and severely cut back on the “work out excuses”.
