Norton for Congress

Pianist, composer, conductor, radio personality/host of the highly successful PBS Jazz Legends series, and NEA Jazz Master Ramsey Lewis has been referred to as “the great performer,” a title reflecting his performance style and musical selections that display his early gospel roots and classical training coupled with his love of jazz and other musical forms.

Long a fixture on the smooth jazz scene, Lewis has recorded more than 80 albums and received seven gold records and three Grammy awards, early in his career topping the charts with “The In Crowd,” “Hang On Sloopy” and “Wade in the Water.”

He is joined by one of the most acclaimed singers in contemporary music, Ann Hampton Callaway, renowned for her starring role in the Broadway musical Swing! and a beloved keeper-of-the-flame of the Great American Songbook.
