Media Personality and Fashionista Anji Corley will co-host the first “Black Fashion Focus 2010 Showcase”, benefitting Metro TeenAIDS and Celebrate Emerging African-American Fashion Designers.  BFF 2010 is a benefit event to raise funds for Metro TeenAIDS – a local youth health organization that is tackling the issue head-on.  Black Fashion Focus 2010, to be held on Friday, September 17, 2010 at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium, is the merger of creativity and philanthropy.

Black Fashion Focus 2010 also shines the light on promising African-American fashion designers from across the United States. The evening’s showcase will feature designs from Dena Burton of Los Angeles, California; Essence Flowers of Tampa, Florida; Prajje Jean-Baptiste of Boston, Massachusetts; Travis Cal of Houston, Texas; and Kenny “Kas” Flanagan of Washington, D.C. In selecting the evening’s designers, considerable emphasis was placed on the broad appeal a designer’s collection exudes, as well as excellence in creative design.
