On Thursday, December 2, 2010, the Haiti Renewal Alliance, in collaboration with the Association of Haitian Professionals, will hold their first ever Haiti Reconstruction Job and Trade Fair at the Embassy of Haiti, 2311 Massachusetts Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C. 20008 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM EST.  The event is designed to provide a networking platform for dissemination of Haiti-related national and international job opportunities and to supply workshop briefings covering how to effectively participate in the Haiti reconstruction efforts.

Among the workshops to take place, the Bureau of International Labor Affairs will detail international labor policies and the Overseas Private Investment Corporation will present an update on U.S. Government financing, political risk insurance and other programs to assist U.S. businesses in exporting.

The event is free of charge to all interested job seekers.  Those planning to attend this event should arrive with ample copies of resumes and an eagerness to speak with employers.  For more information about employers and workshops, please visit
