DC Music Lovers it is one of the hottest (literally and figuratively) weekends in DC for music.  Memorial Day tends to kick off the summer music season with cook outs – however if you like music with your hot dogs and burgers – then festivals, National Mall events, jazz, world music and more is what’s in store this weekend…  Whether you enjoy sitting in an air-conditioned theater or arena, being outdoors on the grass or mixing your music with food and festival fun – there is an unlimited amount of music performances, both day and night, to fulfill whatever tickles your musical fancy.

If you thought last weekend’s musical calendar carried a heavy load, then you are not even prepared for the DC Music Scene!!  Make sure to pack your sunscreen, some bottled water and maybe break out your bicycle (gas is really high) because this weekend’s music events are taking us outside so join me, mother nature and DC music lovers as we soak up some sun, fun and great music.

Enjoy!!

Some of these genres include Customized collectibles, Skateboard Art, Stencil, Wheat Paste and 3D Installations. The G40 Art Summit is a unprecedented experience in the art world with its scale and caliber of artists from around the world.
