After closing out a busy 2009 with the MTV European Music Awards in Berlin and his college campuses run in November – Jigga kicks off the 2nd leg of his Blueprint 3 tour starting February 22nd in Houston, Texas.

The first leg of the Blueprint 3 tour included shows in Uniondale, NY;  East Rutherford, NJ;  Atlantic City, NJ; &  Detroit, MI.

Jay-Z will be joined by Grammy-nominated rapper Young Jeezy on selected dates of the  2010’s The Blueprint 3 tour.

And in other Jay-Z news, the rapper, along with Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, joined the producing team for soon-to-open Fela!—a Broadway musical based on the life and music of revolutionary African composer and performer Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.

Lastly, speaking of “Empire State of Mind,” MTV reports that Jay-Z will contribute a new verse for “Part 2″ of his and Alicia Keys’ BP3 smash, with the new version featuring own Keys’ upcoming album The Element of Freedom, out in December.

Black Eyed Peas Announce World Tour

Tuesday, February 23 at 7:30 p.m.

Three-time Grammy Award winning recording artist, The Black Eyed Peas announced dates for their 100-date headline tour including a Tuesday, February 23 date at Verizon Center at 7:30 p.m. Described as the ultimate Black Eyed Peas party experience, it also marks the first time that the group –,, Taboo and Fergie – is united for a North American headline tour since their 2006 Monkey Business world tour. The North American leg of “The E.N.D. World Tour 2010,” produced by AEG Live, will kick off at Philips Arena in Atlanta on February 4, 2010, and conclude on April 11th at GM Place in Vancouver. After a short break, the tour resumes in May with shows across Europe and the UK.

TICKET INFORMATION: Tickets for the Black Eyed Peas are $92.50, $72.50 and $49.50 (plus applicable service charges) and go on sale Saturday, December 12 at 12:00 p.m. The floor will be general admission – no seats. A ticket lottery will be taking place at 10:00 a.m. at the Verizon Center box office only, which allows each patron an equal opportunity at buying the best seats available during the public on sale. There is an eight ticket limit, with no more than four general admission floor seats per person. The New Years’ Diet Gradual Change leads to Lasting Results

It’s the New Year and for many this is the time for a fresh outlook, new beginnings and a chance to tackle some new, but often, previous unaccomplished New Years resolutions. We resolve to make more time for ourselves, better manage our finances, quit smoking or spend more time with our loved ones.

But without fail, year after year, getting control of our “diet” always ranks # 1 on resolution lists. So whether it means getting (or finally using) that gym membership, engaging in daily physical activity or changing your eating habits – committing to a regime that promotes a healthy you is a priority.

Let’s focus on setting reasonable goals and making gradual lifestyle changes that will produce our much desired long-term results. Incorporate some of these suggestions, to finally put the “# 1 / Diet” resolution to rest.
